About Wesley

Wesley Mauldin has spent close to two decades with his hands in the ground. He started in Amarillo, Texas in 2012, after university and several years working in production greenhouses, and he has been growing, designing, and building ever since.

Over the years the work moved with him, from market gardens and nursery benches to landscape design and project coordination. He now runs Mauldin Horticulture from Terrace, BC, serving the Skeena Valley.

That range carries into the work itself: the same person who draws your master plan in Vectorworks has set boulders with an excavator, laid sod on a public building, and pricked out thousands of seedlings. The plans that come out of it are practical, drawn to plant well and hold up in a northern climate.

Most professionals in my line of work are captured in one distinct aspect of their field. I offer a broad knowledge and experience in many facets of horticulture and agriculture, which makes my work stand out.

He also writes about horticulture, because twenty years of mistakes and fixes are worth more written down than kept. The tagline on this site is his own: planting vision, growing legacy.
